Ardenza is another Vaal Dam fishing spot in the central part of the dam. It’s near Oranjeville and many carp fishing competitions are held there regularly.
We really struggle to find any useful info on this place but it seems popular and as a rustic camping venue it satisfies the vast majority of keen fishermen. We’ll keep looking for updates…
- bookings are essential, don’t just pitch up
- you don’t need to cast very deep, around 70m should be ample
- recent reports suggest caramel and garlic
- but surely any Vaal Dam favourites should work well
