We have been to Midmar many times during our visits to the Natal Midlands. It’s a beautiful dam with some surprisingly clean facilities.
We’ve caught many bass here over the years but not much else. We’ve tried for carp a few times without any luck.
Midmar Dam is also the home of Linky’s second biggest bass. A monster caught at Pylon Bay (see video below).
