We are visiting from Seattle, USA, looking for some bass fishing. Bronkhorstspruit seems like a great venue. We obviously have no boat, so bank fishing is what we are looking for. I would like to book a chalet for from Friday 14 to Saturday 15 for 6 people. Are the chalet close to the water, my grandson (15) and his friend (15) want to do fishing, my husband will too. The 2 boys belong to the school’s fishing club.
I can’t get through to the numbers of Rietvlei and the email address comes back not found.
The chalets are very close to the water, it’s really ideal. You might not get through, they are very busy. Just keep trying, it should work eventually. Unfortunately I doubt you’ll get a booking this year…
Have you tried Abrahamsrust? That’s very near to you and allows day visits I think. Also on the Vaal Dam you could try Leboya Bay which isn’t too far for you.
